Burger Records just re-released the Bell Gardens "Hangup's Need Company" debut EP on hand numbered, limited edition cassette. You can get it at: http://www.burgerrecords.org/apps/webstore/products/show/3154919

A very cool thing that happened recently is that at a music swap meet at BedrockLA (massive rehearsal/recording studio in Echo Park) I won some rehearsal time in a raffle and then met the Mapex drum reps. I am now talking to them about an endorsement. They let me borrow a kit the next weekend to do some gigs with, and I loved it. Also, I was hired as a drum tech for Bedrock the following week, which has all new Mapex kits. After doing that, I know all about the company!

Something I want to address is since the beginning of June I've been contacted by so many artists but didnt get the chance to work with them. I usually do a shout out to them every couple of blog posts or so. Some of these go back to January. Thank you to IAMEVE (Tiff Randol), Dylan Dray, Pony Boy (Marchelle Bradanini), Raven Hughes, Max Tepper, Soul Rillah, Light FM and The Electra (Shelina Louise). All great artists!

  1. As a post script to this blog post, I actually have gone on to play with almost all of the the artists listed at the bottom of the post. How ironic? Honorable mention too goes to Meg Myers and Queen Caveat. At the time, I would have never guessed either one would go on the do the things they have done.
